Vegan Gluten Free Porridge
3 cups cooked brown rice
1 ¾ cup (415ml) almond milk
3 tablespoons coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
2 tablespoons golden flaxseed meal
2 tablespoons raisins
¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Combine, rice, milk, sugar, flaxseed meal, raisins, cinnamon and salt in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, then turn the heat down to low and cook until thickened to your liking, stirring frequently.
- Turn off the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Serve warm with any toppings you like
